“I hate advertising”

That’s what Phil Knight, Nike's co-founder, said when he first met Dan Wieden. Phil, allow me to steal it because I wholeheartedly agree with you. The world doesn't need more ads. The majority of them are annoying, they steal your time and tend to be forgotten. People want to laugh, to feel part of a community, to be inspired, or entertained. At the end of the day, we’re all fans of something, why not a brand? For the last +15 years, I’ve worked with companies to figure out how they can use their advertising budgets to connect with people. Not targets, personas, or consumers. People.

During my career, I’ve worked for household brands and early-stage startups, I had my own studio and freelanced. I have been lucky to lead incredibly talented teams, and launch campaigns, products, and experiences that created emotions, conversations, and headlines. I believe ideas can change things, and people. Some of mine have been recognized with awards like Clio, Cannes Lions, D&AD, Effies, and Fast Company Innovation, among others. Directing Ava Duvernay has been the highlight of my career.
