A message of Hope backed with a company action


When Covid-19 started, almost all television and film production had to stop globally - leaving hundreds of thousands of crew and cast without jobs. These include electricians, carpenters, drivers, hair and makeup artists, and more, many of whom are paid hourly wages and work on a project-to-project basis. Netflix wanted to support the community that was there for us in the good times, so we created a $150M fund to help with hardship in the creative community. When we announced the fund, we put out a message of hope for the people impacted, so we used our proprietary billboard space in Los Angeles to spotlight those who are normally behind the camera.
