Netflix’s first-ever global brand campaign


Stories have the power to bring us together. They help us understand realities that are foreign, and push us to walk a mile in other people's shoes. Roma's Cleo showed us how it felt to be a domestic worker in Mexico during the 70s. Esty, from Unorthodox, helped us understand more of the Hasidic community. Marriage Story taught us about love, when love is lost. Whether it’s through emotional narrative or light-hearted escapism, stories shift perspectives, allow us to feel more, and see in a more empathetic way. That’s the premise behind this campaign. We're only one story away, from new feelings, new realities, and from each other.

A unified message that resonates globally

Released simultaneously in over 27 countries, we created localized versions of the campaign, adapting the artwork and creating films featuring voice-overs from Netflix talent like Ava Duvernay, Yalitza Aparicio, Lali Espósito, Omar Sy, and Hannah Gadsby.

One story away was included on Netflix’s platform, helping viewers choose what to watch based on the journey they wanted to feel
